Dr Brendan Tran graduated with a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry and Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science from Griffith University.

Brendan believes that every patient should be comfortable at the dentist and makes it his mission to ensure that this is being fulfilled during all of his appointments. 

He has a particular interest in dental implants but aims to further his knowledge across the many fields of dentistry such as orthodontics and children’s dentistry.

Brendan completed his LLU/gIDE Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry, making him skilled in doing implants.

As a quadrilingual, Brendan speaks four languages: English, Mandarin, Cantonese & Teochew, which enables him to fluently interact with patients in their preferred mother tongue if necessary. 

When Brendan is not working hard at the clinic, he loves to keep active by playing sports, travelling the world and spending time with friends & family.

Dr. Elvis Trinh holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, along with a Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice (specializing in Mental Health and Healthy Ageing) and a Bachelor of Pharmacy. He completed all his degrees at the esteemed University of Sydney. 

Born and raised in the area, he attended Hurlstone Agricultural Selective High School. 

With a wealth of experience, Dr. Elvis has practiced across several clinics in Western Sydney, including Fairfield, Green Valley, Bella Vista, and Riverstone, before settling in Austral. 

He was recently appointed as an honorary lecturer where he serves as a clinical tutor and mentor for both pharmacy and dental students at his alma mater. 

He has also assisted in the dental and pharmacy council in examination and testing for overseas trained practitioners.

During his limited free time, you can spot him with his young family in the suburbs, attempting to enjoy a warm café meal, even if it often goes cold due to the demands of his enthusiastic children. Despite these “challenges”, he cherishes every moment with them.

Dr. Elvis Trinh has received numerous accolades and scholarships, including:

He still practices as a hospital pharmacist to this day as both professions complement each other, making him a well-rounded clinician with a strong focus on holistic and comprehensive multidisciplinary care.

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Sydney, Dr. Sachdeva brings a unique blend of compassion and expertise to our dental practice. A dedicated dentist with a passion for improving smiles and lives, Dr. Sachdeva earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University in Cairns in 2017.

With over six years of experience serving the local community through NSW Health, Dr. Sachdeva's commitment to public dentistry is truly commendable and has left a lasting impact on many patients. The satisfaction of helping others drives her work, and she aims to create a comfortable and stress-free environment for every patient she cares for. 

When Dr. Sachdeva isn't brightening smiles, she finds joy in embracing the great outdoors. Whether it's scaling hiking trails, finding tranquility through yoga, or engaging in friendly matches on the tennis court. Her well-rounded lifestyle reflects our holistic approach to both dentistry and life.

Dr. Mays is passionate about all aspects of dentistry and ensures that her patients are always comfortable. She focuses on providing high-quality dental care and aims to thoroughly and clearly explain what is happening every step of the way in your appointment.

She graduated from Baghdad University in 2008 and subsequently worked with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent. In 2010, she made Australia her second home.

In addition to English, Dr. Mays speaks Arabic and is a professional Arabic interpreter.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family and two children. She loves visiting new places, with Stockholm, Sweden, being her favorite destination.

Dr. Mays is always happy to offer her help and support in dentistry.

 Meet Dr Daniel Girgis, our oral surgery super-doc on wheels!
Founder and Director of Mobile Oral Surgery Services (MOSS), Dr Daniel is dual-qualified in medicine and dentistry (MBBS, University of Adelaide; DMD, University of Western Australia) and has completed 12 months of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training at registrar level (Prince of Wales Hospital, NSW).

At Austral Dental Care, Dr Daniel performs wisdom teeth and other oral surgery procedures conveniently in-house, using inhalational (happy gas) or IV sedation in collaboration with visiting anaesthetists. This ensures a smooth, comfortable experience in a familiar environment, without the need for hospital visits.

With over five years of experience in emergency medicine and surgical training across NSW, SA, and WA, Dr Daniel brings a meticulous and medically informed approach to every patient. A published researcher and international presenter in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, he combines clinical excellence with a focus on accessibility, safety, and patient comfort - delivering the highest standard of care close to home.

 Dr Katrina Nhan graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Dental Science. She also holds a Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy and Hygiene) and a TAFE Certificate III in Dental Assisting, so there is no doubt here passion lies in teeth and gums.
Katrina has enjoyed a diverse career working across rural and remote areas of New South Wales -including Orange, Wagga Wagga, Dubbo, and Albury. Before joining the Austral Dental Care Family, she lived in beautiful Tasmania, where she worked in the public sector. She also shares her expertise as a clinical educator for University of Sydney dental and oral health students in the simulation clinic.

Katrina’s passion lies in preventative and restorative dentistry. She believes that healthy gums and bones are the foundation for strong teeth and long-lasting dental work.

When she’s not caring for patients at Austral, Katrina loves keeping active at the gym and unwinding with peaceful afternoon walks.

Dr Vinh Tran is a friendly dentist who grew up in Sydney. He completed his studies to become a dentist at the University of Sydney. 

Vinh is passionate about all aspects of dentistry with a keen interest in restorative and preventative dentistry.

During his dental studies; he has been the recipient of the following awards and scholarships: 

• Sydney Levine Prize for Best Overall Performance in Periodontics 

• Dental Alumni Society Prize No II for Proficiency in Pre-Clinical Operative Dentistry 

• Richard Belitho Bush Memorial Prize for Outstanding Performance in All Theoretical Components 

• Walter John Douglas Partridge Memorial Scholarship

Prior to dentistry, Vinh practiced as a community pharmacist working with patients and healthcare providers in Caringbah, Wollongong, and Shellharbour. 

Outside of dentistry, Vinh enjoys drawing, playing badminton and going on road trips. He admits to being a foodie and enjoys fishing on his days off. If you’re lucky, he will even let you in on his secret fishing hotspots.
